Entry Requirements
Entry to the Bachelor of Theology program is open to persons who satisfy
one or more of the following requirements:
- Successful completion of Year 12 in an Australian school system with
results which are acceptable to the Committee of Deans as demonstrating
potential to undertake work at Bachelor's level.
- Completion of other assessed and/or non-assessed academic work or other
experience which is acceptable to the Committee of Deans as satisfactory
for the granting of provisional enrolment.
- Applicants granted provisional enrolment will be monitored by their
member school and after successful completion of 50 cp, the Committee
of Deans may approve removal of the provisional status.
- Mature age entry may be granted to applicants who have attained the age of 21 years prior to the commencement of the first semester of study in the course.
When seeking admission under the provision requiring completion of Year
12, applicants must provide certified documentary evidence of its successful
completion, or proof of offer of a place in a higher education institution.
Mature age entrants need documentary evidence as to age; admission for mature
age entrants is at the discretion of the Academic Dean of the relevant member
school. Provisional entry may be given where these requirements cannot be
satisfied, and in this case provisional status may be removed on successful
completion of 50 credit points, on the recommendation of the Committee of
Deans.
An applicant for enrolment who is not satisfied with a decision of the Committee of Deans under these provisions may lodge an appeal in accordance with the College's Grievance Procedures.
